About
I am currently the Outreach and Communications Coordinator for the Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values at the University of Notre Dame and the Managing Editor for the journal Studies in History and Philosophy of Science (Part A).
I am also finishing my PhD dissertation, titled Reforming the Raj: Florence Nightingale's biomedical liberalism in British India, in the History and Philosophy of Science Program at Notre Dame. From January 2010 - December 2011, I was an adjunct lecturer at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN where I offered courses on world history (to the Reformation), the history of women in science and medicine, women in the British colonies, and modern European women's history.
In the 2010-2011 academic year, I was a National Science Foundation ND-GLOBES fellow at Notre Dame, which allowed me to explore my interest in the linkages between health, the environment, and society and in the problems and challenges of inter/multidisciplinary scholarship.
