About

I work mostly in metaphysics and topics where it overlaps with logic, semantics, and epistemology.  Lately, I have been writing about the best way to characterize different kinds of change over time.  I also work quite a bit on issues in modality and ontology (and formal ways of arguing about modality and ontology).  And I write some on the philosophy of religion-- in particular the problem(s) of evil, religious disagreement, and the semantics for divine name words.

I teach upper-division classes primarily in metaphysics and philosophical logic, though my teaching interests are broad.
